Andrew B. Tieskotter, 86, of Little Turkey, died Monday, Dec. 22, at Regional Health Services, Cresco.

He was born May 26, 1922, in Festina, son of John and Cecelia Schneberger Tieskotter. He married Bernadine Tillman on Oct. 10, 1945, at St. Luke's Catholic Church, St. Lucas.

Mr. Tieskotter farmed north of Protivin, then farmed in Little Turkey. He was a member of Assumption Parish, Little Turkey.

Survived by: his wife; six sons, Richard (Marlene), Dennis (Kathy) and Gerald, all of Lawler, Mark (Diane) of Waucoma, Roy (Nancy) of New Hampton and Dan of Harpers Ferry; three daughters, Mary (Joe) Roybal of Platteville, Colo., Martha (Marvin) Andera of Cresco and Maxine (Robert) Friedman of Floyd; 24 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Vera Tierney of Cedar Falls and Marian (Juel) Knutson of New Hampton.

Preceded in death by: a son, David; daughter, Marlene; three grandchildren; two brothers, Wilfred and Roman; two sisters, Bernadette and Leona; three brothers-in-law, Leonard Tillman, Joe Tierney and Andrew Kruse; and a sister-in-law, Regina Tieskotter.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Assumption Parish, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, both in Little Turkey. Public visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home, New Hampton, where there will be a 4 p.m. Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary and a 7 p.m. parish Scripture service. Visitation also from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
